Responsibilities
·
Collaborate with
Category leaders within Global Procurement to ensure that initiatives are
moving forward in a consistent manner, that synergistic opportunities are
maximized, and that category strategies are being upheld.
·
Support
procurement and value added activities (g., management reporting, supplier
reviews, benchmarking, etc).
·
Grow
Procurement’s capabilities to:
·
Deliver
Procurement tasks on time against Project Management Timelines
·
Improve
delivery of New Product Development
·
Reduce
COGs
·
Ensure
continuity of materials supply
·
Reduce
working capital through supplier partnerships
·
Support
of procurement business plans which have specific value and deliverables to
support the clients’ business needs - including submission of estimated costs,
final costs, capacity and terms agreements, price list management to respective
parties in line with established processes.
·
Performs
RFP’s, RFI’s, drives quotation process, cost benchmarking initiatives and
analysis, monitors VMI
·
activities,
negotiates standard requirements and terms & conditions, submits analytics
and recommendations
·
of
supply to management for approval. Assembles and submits AOB’s (Award of
Business) to management, where applicable
·
Assess
and assembles relevant supplier and market intelligence in support of SWOT
analysis, supply recommendations, and business impact scenario analysis
·
Align
with Procurement Finance on financial reporting improvements and tactics
·
Review
of monthly global packaging PPV performance against expectations
·
Track
rebate submissions
·
Coordinate
and validate global tracker submissions
·
Lead
global supplier financial stability assessment
·
Assess
opportunities
·
Facilitate/troubleshoot
issue resolution
·
Serve
as SAP and Ariba key user
·
Oversight
of global commodity code maintenance
·
Identify
and put in place the action programs and metrics to successfully drive
performance improvements in the area of direct packaging spend - including
development of cost models and spend analytics
·
Uphold

Preferred
& Required Skills
·
Bachelors’
degree in Business, Operations/Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or
equivalent required. International business experiences a plus. Proficient use
of MS.
·
Demonstrated
track record of delivering results in a complex environment.
·
Proven,
strong communication and interpersonal analysis skills, verbal and written.
·
