Supports the buying process for goods and services globally as part of the Source-to-Contract (S2C) team. Promotes compliance with Gartner's procurement policy and spend under management goals. What you will do:
New Supplier Set-up:
- Review with Category Managers and act as final approver for new supplier setup requests from business units (BUs) for suppliers in Source-to-Contract (S2C) managed categories using Gartner's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution meeting the S2C involvement threshold (currently $50K).
- Monitor new supplier setups for suppliers with spend below $50K.
- Advise Category Managers of new suppliers set up in their coverage areas.
- Coordinate with BUs to maximize use of preferred, previously contracted, small/diverse suppliers and suppliers with sustainability programs.
- Review, approve and/or escalate Supplier Onboarding Supplier Code of Conduct exceptions.
- Review, update and maintain new supplier information entered by Category Managers into Gartner's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution to match the supplier's name and supplier number in the P2P solution.
Requisition Approval:
- Review with Category Manager and act as final approver for Requisitions from BUs in S2C managed categories using Gartner's P2P solution meeting the S2C involvement threshold (currently $50K).
- Validate/update the contract information, supplier name, descriptions, amount, payment terms, and category assigned to the Requisition to ensure the spend is considered managed.
- Collaborate with Category Managers on sourcing and contract initiatives to determine requisition approval timing and the appropriate delivery method of the approved PO to the supplier.
- Monitor requisitions below $50K to optimize use of preferred, previously contracted, small/diverse suppliers and suppliers with sustainability programs.
- Monitor requisitions in S2C out-of-scope categories to ensure the category assigned to the requisition spend is correct.
Contract Reviews & Sourcing:
- Support/conduct Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA) negotiations as needed.
- Conduct less complex/low dollar contract negotiations
- Conduct Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives to obtain savings in coordination with the appropriate Category Manager and BU.
Supplier Diversity:
- Respond to survey and information requests from the DE&I team (ERG surveys) and Client Contracts team
- Maintain compliance logs for the Small Business program
- Review the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Gartner P2P System and other databases to identify potential small and diverse suppliers for the S2C team and BUs.
Other Responsibilities:
- Create supplier catalogs or requisition forms as needed.
- Manage the Supplier Source-to-Contract Mailbox for BU inquiries.
- Maintain S2C taxonomy file and maintain S2C P2P Approval Groups.
- Manage the supplier on-site requests approval process with Real Estate, Legal, Risk and S2C.
- Lead & support process improvement initiatives for the S2C and P2P teams.
- Manage Buyer monthly reports to provide insight for S2C Leadership.
