About Job:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase Executive/Senior Executive who will be responsible for managing the procurement process, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and components. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation capabilities, and a deep understanding of the power electronics market.


This position is based out of our Power Electronics Division in New Delhi.


Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct order reviews and plan parts based on consumption.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders.
  • Engage with vendors for material procurement.
  • Maintain inventory in line with target cost goals.
  • Develop tubular, sheet metal, machining, plastic, and other tooled components according to drawings within project timelines.
  • Analyze drawings to determine suitable manufacturing processes and assign to appropriate vendors for development.
  • Perform costing for new components, solicit quotations, compare, negotiate, and finalize product requirements and commercial terms with vendors.
  • Select suppliers and review specifications to ensure requirements are met.
  • Monitor and follow up with suppliers for regular materials and development parts.
  • Collaborate with the QA team for system and process audits as per control plans.
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues in procured parts.
  • Obtain PPAP documents from vendors and secure approval from the QA department.
  • Costing of outsourced parts and cost estimation after verifying cycle times at the vendor's site.
  • Evaluate, compare, and negotiate with vendors on pricing and other terms and conditions, followed by the release of purchase orders.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers in response to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) or increases in raw material costs.

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the power electronics or related field.
  • Experience in Electricals- Wires, Mold/Mechanical- Sheet Metal, Packing, Cabinet/Electronics - SMD Components.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
