Job Duties: Understanding of company policies and procedures. Ability to issue bids, analyze proposals, and draft purchase orders. Skill in negotiating favorable terms for purchases. Knowledge of purchasing documents and insurance requirements. Understanding of contract terms and conditions. Ability to conduct meetings with suppliers and maintain vendor base. Excellent customer service and recordkeeping skills. Ability to oversee special projects. Ability to identify supplier options and KPIs. Ability to resolve purchasing issues for internal and external customers. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field 4+ years of Supply Chain Management experience CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management) certification preferred. Experience with SAP Materials Management and GEP. Strong knowledge of bids, vendor management, contracts, and supplier management (services)
